Band Logo Development

I decided to base my band logo on atreyu but will make major changes to make mine better. a band logo appears on most merch and some albums. its a mark that fans of the band will be able to easily recognise and accociate with the band.

Today I started designing and genrateing ideas for the other parts of my coursework. I have designed my band logo and come up with the band name "Falkor Morla" This is a refrence to the book "The Neverending Story" from which Atreyu got their name. Atreyu is one of the main characters in the book Falkor and Morla are two mythical creatures that help him in the course of the story.

Meeting with Andy Feetom

I have had two meetings with Andy Feetom. He is the Theater Manager and has the set timetable for when the theater is in use. We discussed multiple times when I would be able to film. We both decided that the 6th of December would be the best time so I now have the theater booked from 4PM until 8PM I will try to do as much of my filming on this one day as possible. This is because of the amount of equipment that has to be transported for the video and arrangeing mulitple dates is not possible.

Decision on Filming Location
I decided on the theater as it would fit in better with the narrative of the video and would be more practical as the equipment we can get there would make the video look alot more professional. This equipment cannot fesably be transported to a empty car park.

Idea Development

Decision to include a second guitarist.
I have decided to include a second guitarist for three reasons. 
First of all I think my animatic shows the first guitarist ocupies to many shots and the focus will be drawn to him. The second guitaist will take some of his close ups away meaning the focus will only be drawn to him when he is singing.
Second think it will give more variation to the shots seeing three string instruments rather than the two making the video as a whole seem more active rather than having several shots of the same person in quick succession.
Finally the band Atreyu have two guitarists themselves and so do many other metal bands. Having a second guitarist may make my band look more like a real Metal band.
